After you've applied you will be able to track the progress of your application then accept or decline any offers through our Applicant Hub. Tracking your application HTML Once you've submitted your application, you can track its progress using the Applicant Hub. Access the Applicant Hub (log-in required) The Applicant Hub is a secure site that allows you to edit some of your personal details, submit further documents that may be requested by our admissions teams, and track the progress of your application. You will receive a username and a password for the Applicant Hub once you have submitted your online application. Problems using the Applicant Hub Support is available if you are having problems with your application. Applicant Hub support Decisions on your application You will be notified by email when a decision has been made on your application. If you have applied for more than one degree programme you will receive a separate decision for each. If you have any questions about the decision, you can contact us using the contact details included with your decision communication. Receiving an offer If your application is successful you will receive a formal offer of admission, which contains information about: your chosen degree programme your period of study (including your start date at the University) your programme director your fee status and any additional programme costs the deadline by which you need to accept or decline the offer any conditions on your offer, such as supporting documents that you must provide Where competition for places is strong, some programmes operate a waiting list system. Regardless of competition for places, we recommend that you reply as early as possible - definitely before the response date given in your offer - otherwise you may be deemed to have withdrawn your interest in the programme. If you need more time to make a decision, please contact us as an extension to the deadline may be possible. Accepting the offer Make sure you read your offer carefully and follow the instructions on how to accept using the Applicant Hub. At the time of accepting an offer you are not committing yourself financially or academically to the University, but an early indication of your response does help us to manage the admissions process. We will send you confirmation when we receive your acceptance. Unconditional offers If you receive and accept an unconditional offer of admission you will subsequently receive information with your joining instructions. Conditional offers If you receive a conditional offer then you must provide any outstanding supporting documents (such as English language test results, official degree transcripts or signed forms) as soon as possible through the Applicant Hub. You can upload scanned copies of your documents as we do not normally need to see paper copies. You can accept the offer before submitting these documents, but we cannot make an unconditional offer, confirm your place or provide any further formal information until we have received all the required documents. Waiting lists Offers are sometimes subject to a waiting list. This means that the programme you have applied for is full, but your name has been placed on a list of candidates for consideration if another candidate declines their offer and a place becomes available. We will notify you by email if a place becomes available. Declining the offer You can decline your offer using the Applicant Hub. If you are unable to use our Applicant Hub, you will receive your offer letter by post and must return the signed Decline of Offer form to the appropriate College Postgraduate Office. If you intend to decline your offer, please let us know promptly so we can offer a place to any applicants on a waiting list for your degree programme. We wish you every success with your future studies. Unsuccessful applicants We receive many more applications from well-qualified students than there are places available. If your application has not been successful, you can request feedback from us or refer to our guidance for unsuccessful applicants, which explains some of the common reasons why we reach this decision.
