Roslin is a major partner in Edinburgh Genomics, formed by the merger of ARK Genomics and Edinburgh Gene Pool.
National Avian Research Facility
A “one-stop-shop” for poultry researchers worldwide.
Centre for Comparative Pathology
A collaborative centre focusing on the study of human and animal disease mechanisms.
Bioimaging and Flow Cytometry
A dedicated team ensures that all users have appropriate training to use the state-of-the-art technologies and techniques on offer.
Large Animal Research and Imaging Facility
New facility which incorporates resources for the Centre of Innovation Excellence in Livestock (CIEL) and the Agricultural Engineering Precision Innovation Centre (AGRI-EPI) due for completion in 2019.
Proteomics and Metabolomics Facility
This facility provides a full range of bespoke services allowing the isolation, identification and quantitation of proteins and small molecules.
The Roslin Institute develops and maintains a number of publicly available database systems.
TSE Resource Centre
Edinburgh has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy (TSE) research and has a dedicated resource centre supporting other researchers working in this area.
