High-end microscopy, cell sorting and flow cytometry equipment.
The Bioimaging and Flow Cytometry Facility incorporates all of the Institute’s high-end microscopy, cell sorting and flow cytometry equipment. Please contact us to have an initial discussion prior to arranging use of the instruments.
A dedicated team ensures that all users have appropriate training to use the state-of-the-art technologies and techniques on offer.
On this page you will find descriptions of current equipment and techniques available in high-end Microscopy and Cell Sorting.
Flow Cytometry is a technique for counting and examining microscopic particles, such as cells and chromosomes, by suspending them in a stream of fluid and passing them by an electronic detection apparatus.
Please contact our staff directly if you have any specific Bioimaging queries (or, for internal users, fill in the help request form on the Intranet page).
