EurSafe conference focuses on food systems
Experts gather in Edinburgh for annual meeting of the European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics.
Transforming our food systems to meet current and future challenges is to be the focus of an interdisciplinary conference.
The 2022 conference of the European Society for Agricultural and Food Ethics, EurSafe, will examine how to provide safe, nutritious food for all amid challenges such as Covid-19, climate change, environmental degradation and social inequity.
The event, co-organised by the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Systems, features keynote speakers, a practitioners’ panel and more than 90 presentations.
It brings together inter-disciplinary expertise from across Europe to address subjects such as veterinary training, veterinary practice, animal research ethics, animal welfare, and food for the future.
Registration closes on 17 August for the conference, which will take place in Edinburgh on 7-10 September.
EurSafe 2022: Transforming Food Systems is co-organised with the University of Edinburgh’s School of Social and Political Science and the independent consultancy Edinethics.
