Insights into livestock health and mortality in Ethiopia

SEBI team members Cheryl Heath and Alan Duncan visited Ethiopia on a data gathering exercise.

This visit yielded insights into the current trends and issues facing livestock development in Ethiopia, and into the projects and strategies aimed at catalysing change in the sector.  Engaging with numerous animal health stakeholders as part of the visit is informing SEBI’s plans for Programme 1 in Ethiopia. SEBI aims to build partnerships to, where necessary, fill data gaps, and, where possible, to add value to existing projects.
