Supporting Evidence-Based Interventions (SEBI)

SEBI and University of Guelph sign on the dotted line

Researchers at the University of Guelph have been awarded $125,000 under SEBI Programme 3 to fund field trials to test a portable hand held instrument that can detect animal diseases.

The portable sensor allows dairy farmers to rapidly diagnose ketosis and other metabolic diseases in cows by analysing a small volume of blood or milk (http://news.uoguelph.ca/2017/04/portable-device-spot-animal-diseases-set-begin-field-trials/).
