CSIRO visit to Edinburgh

The SEBI team was pleased to host Brendan Power, CSIRO on a 2 day visit to Edinburgh.

Under the SEBI project, Brendan and the CSIRO team will develop the LiveGaps 2 initiative. This is a follow up to LivesGap aimed at understanding and assessing the yield gaps in livestock systems by utilising household and spatial data.  LiveGaps2 will be heavily involved in the development of ‘’Apps’’ to help understand the yield gaps, these will function at 3 different levels: Animal level (e.g. RUMINANT App), Farmer Level (HHS), Country Level (Aggregated, upscaling data, GIS productivity maps).
