Bill Day

Bill Day is a volunteer Patient and Public Involvement Lead at the Asthma UK Centre for Applied Research

Bill is a volunteer PPI patient lead and member of the Centre Management Committee. His interest in asthma stems from him being a lifelong asthmatic. Since being referred to a specialist hospital a few years ago and having his medications altered Bill’s health has improved dramatically, he feels passionately that all asthmatics should have the same access to specialist treatment in order to improve their health before they become chronically ill.

Bill is on the committee of the ‘CHILL’ study into the effects of the London Ultra Low Emission Zone and has contributed feedback to several other studies since joining the PPI group.
