Technical support is available 24 hours a day, and 7 days a week so any issues you may encounter while studying will be resolved quickly and efficiently.
If you encounter any issues regarding EASE login, MyEd, email and Office 365, Learn and/or many more, there is an extensive technical and computing self-help section which provides answers to common questions and issues that students encounter.
There is also the University's IS Helpline, which you can contact either by telephone or using the online form.
If you need technical support outwith the main operating hours of the IS Helpline (see below) your request will be automatically transferred to our NorMAN Out-Of-Hours support team run by Northumbria University, who are able to deal with a wide variety of common IT queries, including many specific to University of Edinburgh systems.
The response to contact sent outwith the IS Helpline's operating hours will come from an '@northumbria.ac.uk' email address.
If NorMAN are unable to resolve your request, it will be passed on to the central IS Helpline for investigation. Please note that this may result in a short delay in finding a solution depending on the time the query is passed.
