Digital safety and skills development

Learn how to stay safe when studying, socialising and engaging online. They also promote the principles of good digital citizenship, helping you to use technology responsibly and to treat others with dignity and respect when doing so.  

You can use the University's Digital Skills Framework to develop your digital study and employability skills. You can evaluate your capability level using a self-assessment questionnaire, plan your development using the digital role profiles for Learners and Researchers, and browse over 700 development resources and training using the Resource Finder. 

You will also have free access to our bespoke Digital Skills Programme of online and classroom-based training covering digital and information skills.
