The PGR Welcome Event will take place on, Tuesday 15th September 2026 at 12:30 - 13:30 in the McEwan Hall Auditorium. The Welcome Talk is for all new postgraduate researchers at the University of Edinburgh. It offers an overview of postgraduate research, training, support, and opportunities for all postgraduate researchers. Join us to hear from Doctoral College leads and university representatives, and gain insights from current postgraduate researchers during the student panel.The event will take place at McEwan Hall Auditorium and will start at 12.30pm. No booking is required to attend this event. However, it will be first-come, first-served to enter and it is strongly recommended that you arrive for before the start time.
