Reach Scotland aims to increase access to high demand professional areas. It is a collaborative project managed by the University of Edinburgh, the University of Aberdeen, the University of Glasgow, the University of Dundee and St Andrews University.

Reach Edinburgh is run in collaboration with the University of Edinburgh’s well established Pathways to the Professions project, which works with school pupils in Edinburgh and the Lothians. Reach Edinburgh will give information and support for applying to Medicine, Veterinary Medicine and Law.

*Please note: as from July 2017, Architecture is no longer a strand of Reach: Edinburgh. However, any pupil from one of the schools listed below who is interested in Architecture can register for support from our ACES (Access to Creative Education in Scotland) project - click the link below for further information:

What does Reach do?

Reach Edinburgh works with pupils from S4 to S6 from the following schools in Borders and the Forth Valley:

Pupils who register for Reach are supported from S4 to S6 throughout the entire research and university application process for the high demand professional areas. Reach gives advice and guidance on everything from school course choice to UCAS applications. Reach also runs career exploration events, allowing pupils to gain a valuable insight into their area of interest.
