Undergraduate study - 2020 entry

YourEd

YourEd is a project for secondary school students in the south east of Scotland

What's involved?

We arrange visits to your school from:

  • former students of your school or town who are now studying at Edinburgh
  • University staff sharing their academic passion

We run information sessions and activities on:

  • student experience topics like studying, money and social life
  • transitions to university, confidence building and study skills
  • the types of different degree subjects we offer
  • the kinds of careers you can get with a degree from Edinburgh
  • course selection and UCAS applications

We provide curriculum support activities such as:

  • revision sessions
  • student tutors
  • academic support for Highers and Advanced Highers
  • Challenge Days: fun variety days designed to stretch your academic ability and build your confidence

Activities take place throughout the school year and we offer advice by phone/email.

We can also organise bespoke open day experiences that include travel organised and paid for by the University of Edinburgh.
