YourEd is our secondary schools partnership scheme designed for schools and pupils who may feel unsure if Higher Education (HE) or the University of Edinburgh is for them. We take the University to you: sharing our resources and expertise to bring you into our University community at an earlier stage.

Our programmes

YourEd is a long-term programme of information, advice and guidance spanning the whole high school journey (S1 to S6). Our work is divided into two programmes: 

  • The YourEd School Programme: Our offer to all pupils (S1 to S6) within all our partner schools.
  • YourEd+: An intensive attainment and aspiration raising programme for pupils in S5 and S6.

An intensive attainment and aspiration raising programme for pupils in S5 and S6. YourEd+ aims to support pupils that have the potential to go to university to achieve your desired grades at Highers and successfully transition into university level study by increasing your confidence, academic skills and attainment.
