Qualified in 2003 from Glasgow Caledonia University and worked junior rotations in NHS Fife, travelled and worked in New Zealand in specialist orthopaedic trauma centre and Musculoskeletal out patients departments for a year. I returned in 2006 to NHS Fife and went on to secure a specialist MSK rotational physio post in NHS Lothian.
Throughout this time I have worked with Perthshire Rugby Club then Edinburgh Academicals Rugby Club as lead physio, coordinating rehab and cover for games. Also working with age grade district and national teams for the SRU.
Currently I am involved as an MSK physiotherapist in FASIC and the NHS with rehabilitation specialism, Lead physiotherapist at Edinburgh Academicals Rugby Club and Scotland Club XV physiotherapist for SRU.
Throughout my physiotherapy career I have worked towards specialising in sports injuries. I have worked for the Scottish Rugby Union since graduating, working with age grade junior athletes up to professional players and national squads. I work within the NHS coordinating rehabilitation services including classes and high level rehab
