Why can’t I borrow the item I have requested?

There may be times when you cannot borrow the item you have requested.

• If you have fines of over £20.00 on your library account* you will not be able to borrow the item you have requested.
• If you have an overdue requested item on your record you will not be able to borrow the item you have requested.
• If your library record has expired since you placed the request you will not be able to borrow the item you have requested.

* Outstanding Fines and Fees are shown on your library account.
