If appealing on grounds of illness, please note:

Please just include dates of illness, not medical details.
Repeated appeals on the basis of illness will require proof from a health professional or from your School.
We use details here to ascertain reasons for appeal only. The form will be destroyed after 1 year, and medical certificates immediately.
If you are submitting proof as part of a fine appeal, please email them as attachments to Library.Account@ed.ac.uk

Please provide subject line: 'FAO Fine appeal team ML', and include your name and library barcode (starting 201500).

We aim to deal with any fine appeal within 8 working days, and will email you directly with the outcome. You may also check your library record online to obtain an update.
