Creating an Interactive Timeline with Histropedia

How to create an interactive timeline to visualise and explore linked open data.

Histropedia is a tool that can be used to create an interactive timeline using information from Wikidata and Wikipedia. 

'Transforming Wikipedia and Wikidata into the world's first timeline of everything' 

These timelines allow users to explore history, making them effective digital education resources. Histropedia is easy to use once you know how to create a basic Wikidata query that contains dates. Any timeline can be generated using the information from Wikidata; below is an example of how to create a Histropedia timeline of ships of the White Star Line.
