University of the 3rd Age Presentation

Donald J Davidson presented an overview of his research and the broader context, entitled  "New approaches to infectious diseases in an era of antibiotic resistance" to the East Lothian University of the 3rd Age group.

U3As are self-led lifelong learning cooperatives for older people, providing opportunities for their members to share learning experiences in a wide range of interest groups and to pursue learning, not for qualifications, but for fun.

East Lothian U3A is a member of the Third Age Trust and is also a Registered Charity. Founded in 1999, it is one of 41 separate U3As in Scotland.

Donald enjoyed some very stimulating questions from a diverse, thoughtful and well informed group.
