Contemporary Events and Future History
Those taking the session will be asked to select a contemporary event/problem (hopefully nothing too obvious) that historians might be grappling with in 50-100 years.
They will write a short post on Learn (500 words or so) discussing how the event is being presented to contemporaries, the issues that historians might have with gaining perspective or understanding context, how the event is being recorded, and so on.
This event runs all through the week - students can participate whenever they choose. There are no set times to be online.
