The American Civil War in Film

The American Civil War has been the subject of some of the greatest films in the history of cinema. This film series explores how filmmakers have interpreted the Civil War since Glory (1989).

This film series focuses on films produced since Glory (1989).

Films included in the series that will be shown: Glory (1989), Gettysburg (1993), Cold Mountain (2003), CSA (2004), and Lincoln (2012).

After each film, there will be a brief lecture and Q&A about the film, with refreshments.
