Practical Archaeology

Want to try archaeology in the field? Need to learn recording methods for fieldwork requirements? Need to brush up on fieldwork techniques? Come along for a day of practical archaeology, not offered in your degree before heading out on site this summer.

The overall day is to introduce archaeologists and those seeking archaeological fieldwork an opportunity to learn basic on site skills which will be used on site. It will also encourage people to seek out fieldwork and get involved in archaeology.

Please be aware part of this event will take place outside.
