Our very first Masters Network Community Reading Group will be introduced by Dr Dave Reay and Dr Elizabeth Bomberg. We will examine the emotive and controversial issue of fracking from a multidisciplinary perspective, first as a collective group and then in smaller breakout groups.
This is a unique opportunity for you to meet other students from different disciplines and to exchange and share views on contemporary global issues. You will also benefit from the perspectives of researchers working at the cutting edge of these fields.
After the main event, the discussion will continue in a less formal environment, a nearby pub, where we can all get to know each other a little bit better.
