Mission: Explore Edinburgh - student orientation event
New GESA masters students are invited to an orientation event on Wednesday 18 September where they will take part in a secret mission.
Mission: Explore Edinburgh
Wednesday 18 September 2013, 5.00pm - 7.00pm
School of Geography, Drummond Street
This is an orientation activity designed to help new GESA masters students become more familiar with the city of Edinburgh - but it involves a top secret mission!
Our best secret agent has gone missing in the field, and as a precaution, we are sending our top-ranking assets to safe houses around the city. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to work with your unit to locate the safe houses, make contact with our agents, and ensure their safety. Enemy operatives may be on your tail, so stay alert.
We will depart from the School of Geography at 5pm sharp, so please arrive in good time. You will work in teams, lead by PhD students. Please make sure you are dressed appropriately to stay warm and dry, however we do have a place in case of wet weather.
