This eight-week online course is designed to give women, with an early-stage startup idea, the best foundation for success. Access world-class teaching with wellness rituals, powered by a nurturing community to help you and your early-stage startup thrive.

In this course we aim to:

  • Create a supportive network of women who can form a community and share knowledge and experiences
  • Equip you with an understanding of the challenges facing female entrepreneurs
  • Help you build your confidence and break down limiting beliefs

You will be supported along the way with an experienced business adviser to help you navigate all the resources and support. Upon successful completion of the course, you can apply for an exclusive grant of £2,000.

The course kicks-off on Wednesday 7th February with an in-person lunchtime welcome and induction, thereafter all eight sessions will take place online with Keystone Women on a Thursday evening 7pm – 8pm.

The online courses will cover the following:

  • Taking stock and starting where you are – 14th February

The Power Her Up Programme is for all students and recent graduates from the University of Edinburgh who identify as female, including trans-women.

Our aim with this programme is to empower women as entrepreneurs and business owners for the betterment of society as a whole. For example, according to a 2019 review by the HM Treasury, up to £250 billion of new value could be added to the UK economy if women started and scaled businesses at the same rate as UK men.”

I loved it. I loved all of it. It’s got me buzzed to get started.
