Starting your own business can be both exciting and daunting. Where do you start? What do you need? Who do you ask for help?

Attend KB Talks and meet successful entrepreneurs who know the ins and outs of setting up a business from scratch. Listen to their stories, meet like-minded people, and get inspired to start your own entrepreneurial journey.

The talks will be followed by a Q&A and a networking reception so that you have plenty of time to chat to the speakers.

  • Favour Onyenma - School of Engineering - co-founder of Sunsave Solutions - a startup increasing access to electricity in Africa (starting in Cameroon) using environmentally friendly and future-oriented way of generating electricity through standalone solar home systems that are portable and can be installed in individual homes and businesses to boost productivity and improve living conditions. 

 

  • Janek Kolacyk - School of Informatics - founder of Clastify - a powerful collection of graded IB exemplars to help students see the best essay structure, learn how to score marks and get inspirations for their own work. 

 

  • Ioannis Stasinopoulos - Deanery of Clinical Sciences - founder of Prozymi BioLabs - have developed a pioneering method to craft gluten-safe bread and baked goods.
