Professor Andrew Calder awarded MBE

Professor Andrew Calder, former Head of the Division of Reproductive and Developmental Sciences (which later became part of the MRC Centre for Reproductive Health), has been recognised in the 2018 Queen’s Birthday Honours List.

He was made a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for his services to obstetrics and gynaecology.

This is a great honour and we wish Professor Calder our congratulations and best wishes.

Professor Calder is also the chair of Tenovus Scotland, a charity that raises funds to support young and early stage researchers working in medical science.
