Shadow Cabinet Secretary visit to CRH

MRC CRH was delighted to host Miles Briggs, Shadow Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport, on 24 July 2018.

Miles learned about the important and ground-breaking research which takes place in CRH to improve reproductive health and discussed the need for increased focus and investment.

He spoke to two of our PI’s, Niki Gray and Colin Duncan, about their research fields and enjoyed a brief Q&A with them at the end of the sessions.

Dr Howie took Miles on one of his ‘Forbes special’ tours of CRH and Miles paid a visit to histology for some hands-on experience with Mike Millar.

Miles Briggs said: “Thank you to everyone who hosted me and for showing me the world leading research taking place. I had a great visit.”
