ESPBC (‘One problem, One Congress, One session at a time’) took place from 16 – 18 May 2018 and was co-organised by CRH’s Professor Jane Norman and Dr Sarah Stock, who did an incredible job of offering delegates a fascinating, informative and enjoyable three days.

210 delegates / speakers attended the Congress from all over the world, with 200 enjoying a dinner and traditional Ceilidh at the Scottish Café and Restaurant on the evening of 17 May. Delegates were offered the opportunity to sample haggis and try their hand at Scottish country dancing!

Tommy’s Centre for Maternal and Fetal Health marked its 10th birthday during the Congress, and the Tommy’s Edinburgh team were delighted that CEO Jane Brewin could join in the celebrations of all that has been achieved over the last decade. The Tommy’s themed cake was enjoyed by all!
