Sustainability goals
Sustainability is an integral part of the Wellcome Centre for Cell Biology (WCB), and we are committed to conducting our research in a sustainable manner.
The WCB sustainability goals include:
- Promoting awareness of the social responsibility and environmental impact of lab practices.
- Find alternative practices and solutions to make lab practices less damaging to the environment.
- Minimizing single use plastic, energy and water consumption.
- Reducing waste and promoting reuse of resources.
- Minimizing the environmental impact of supply chains.
- Gaining environmental accreditation.
