Registration is the first step of the matriculation process. All campus-based and online students must complete online registration, which includes providing or confirming their funding information with the University. What you need to do Fee InformationAs part of online registration, you'll be asked to confirm how your tuition fees will be paid. Depending on your circumstances, you can: pay your fees in full set up an instalment plan confirm funding already held by the University provide details of sponsorship, loans or government funding. If your funding only covers part of your tuition fees, you'll need to arrange payment of the remaining balance during registration, either by paying in full or by setting up an instalment plan. Before you register If you're funded by an external sponsor, grant provider or another organisation, and you haven't already provided your funding evidence, you should upload your documentation before starting online registration. This allows us to verify your funding so it can be reflected in the Academic Fees & Payments section of Annual Registration. You can upload your funding evidence through the Applicant Hub or Student Hub. Please refer to the Sponsorship website for guidance on how to upload your documents and for details of the evidence required. If you receive funding from SAAS, the Student Loans Company (SLC) or Student Finance England (SFE), you do not need to upload your funding confirmation if it is already displayed during online registration. We receive this information directly from the relevant funding body. Sponsorship Webpage If your funding has not been verified If the Fees and Student Support Team has not received your funding documentation in time, or your funding cannot be verified before you register, you'll be asked to provide your payment card details so an instalment plan can be created. This allows you to complete your registration while your funding is being verified. Your card details will only be held for this purpose and will not be used unless your sponsorship or funding cannot be confirmed. Student InformationAlongside your funding information you will need to register your personal details with the University. You will be asked to provide some basic information, including: personal and emergency contact detailsprevious qualifications (for new students)confirmation that you wish to accept or decline a programme placeconfirmation that you have read and accept the University of Edinburgh’s regulations Complete Online Registration When you do it Annual Registration is open to you approximately four weeks prior to your programme start date. Before this time, you may have been asked to fulfil any additional programme-specific admissions criteria, such as evidence of English language proficiency, organising Disclosure Scotland checks, etc. If you were not asked to provide anything extra by your School/College as part of your offer, then you do not need to do anything additional to registration.
