Technogym announced as University of Edinburgh Supplier

Technogym has been announced as the cardio and fixed weight supplier for University of Edinburgh Sport & Exercise

The five-year partnership will see Technogym cardio and fixed weight equipment installed at the Pleasance Sport Complex & Gym, as part of the refurbishment of the Cardio and Eric Liddell fixed weight gyms, in early August.

Within the reimagined space, students, staff and our community members will find Technogym Excite Live equipment which will deliver the best digital cardio training experience. This fully connected cardio equipment range offers a new and personalised training experience for users to reach their goals.

Whilst using the new cardio equipment, users can choose to maximise their time by following a personal trainer-led Technogym Session which combines fun and performance or choose a quick and effective Technogym Routine with video and pop-up message guidance to focus on their workout goals.

Additionally, an extensive range of fixed-weight products from the Technogym Selection Range will offer a great strength workout. Each product in the range is a result of intense research to offer the best in biomechanics to get maximum strength training results. Technogym Selection is completed by Technogym Cable Station 12, a multi-functional strength training area offering endless strength and stability workout options and making the most efficient use of space for individual or group workouts.

The specific pieces of Technogym equipment installed will be based on user demand and usage patterns, in conjunction with industry developments and trends, and the feedback we have received from our members about the type of equipment they would like to see available.

To ensure the continuous improvement of the new facility, Technogym will be providing education days to the fitness teams and gym interns. These days will ensure our staff are kept up to date with the latest innovations with both equipment and digital solutions to provide the very best knowledge and support to our students and the local community.
