Top Coach Joins Basketball Programme

Miguel Angel Ortega Marco joins our Women’s Performance Basketball Programme as we head into the next semester.

Miguel’s track record and expertise have made him the ideal candidate for the post of Assistant Head Coach.

Designated ‘Superior Basketball Coach’ in Spain, he has proved himself a serial winner at club level and has also achieved fantastic success coaching the Spanish National Under-18 team, who play in the highest European Championship tier.

We hope that Miguel enjoys his time with us over the next nine months and that he enjoys sampling Scottish and British culture as well as his Basketball commitments while in Edinburgh.
