Extension Funding Received

Centre secures Wellcome Trust funding

We are delighted to have received a Wellcome Trust Centres in Humanities and Social Science Extension which will fund the Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society until April 2024. This will enable us to build on our research in our themes of Beyond Bodies, Beyond Disease, Beyond Global, Beyond Legal, Beyond Data and Beyond Engagement and also to grow our new area of Beyond Sex. This means that we can keep working with some of our brilliant researchers for longer and that there may be future opportunities to join us in our interdisciplinary space. We will also develop our engagement practice to involve more communities and publics in our work. We are very grateful to Wellcome for this opportunity.
