Introducing Teams for Teaching

Schools choosing to use Microsoft Teams for Teaching in 2020 approached ISG seeking good practice guidance in creating and preparing course-based Teams for Teaching in 2021. Teams for Teaching is now available and you can request it.

Requesting Teams for Teaching

You should discuss any planned use of MS Teams with your School or College Learning Technologist. Once approved, your Learning Technologist will request a Class Team based upon your course, which Information Services will create for you. 

Student course enrolments are refreshed daily in Class Teams from the central Student Information System so you don't need to maintain student memberships. These Teams will be removed at the end of each academic year. All course materials must be maintained in Learn or Media Hopper Create to allow student access to course materials, if required ongoing.
