The Business Reporting & Analytics service provides staff with access to a range of reporting and visualization tools, and University datasets. Its aim and ethos is to support staff in the practice of using data to make evidence-based business decisions.

SharePoint Online

SharePoint Online is a mobile-friendly technology platform included in the University's Microsoft Office 365 offering. It is used for collaboration through intranet and communication sites, document and records management spaces, and workflow process automation.

MyEd Portal

MyEd is the University of Edinburgh's web portal. It is a gateway to web-based services within and beyond the University and offers a personalised set of content with single sign on to key University services such as Learn and Office365.

Event Booking

The Event Booking service is an administrative tool for the scheduling of internal courses, allowing available course searches and online booking.

IS Managed Mobile Service

The University of Edinburgh’s Managed Mobile Service offers flexible packages on a range of smartphones and mobile devices for staff. This is a service for University business and not open for personal usage or obtaining a contract for personal use. The service is only available to Staff, Visiting Staff and Postgraduate Researches. As a result our information pages require a login (via EASE) so that only these designated groups have visibility.

Electronic Voting & Electoral System (EVES)

The Electronic Voting & Electoral System (EVES) helps Information Services deliver a secure and reliable online (or paper) balloting service to election providers. The process, audit and count report supplied is approved by University Court and the Electoral Reform Society, conforming to Electoral Reform Society guidelines for single-seat (transferrable) or multi-seat (WIGM STV) elections.

UniDesk

UniDesk is used for logging, tracking and reporting on service incidents.

Committee Intranets

A Committee Intranet is effectively a restricted Document and Content Management System, specifically for Committee information and papers.

SMS text messaging

This service allows you to send and receive SMS messages to/from mobile telephones.
