Prof Till Bachmann appointed AMR Strategy Lead for Edinburgh Infectious Diseases (EID)
Prof Till Bachmann, has recently been appointed AMR Strategy Lead for Edinburgh Infectious Diseases (EID).
The current Edinburgh Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) strategy was initially launched by Edinburgh Infectious Diseases in 2017 and is comprised of five major themes of AMR research.
After the announcement of Till’s new role at the 2020 Edinburgh Infectious Diseases Annual Symposium, the current AMR strategy is undergoing a review. The launch of the new EID AMR strategy is planned for early 2021.
Edinburgh has hundreds of fantastic researchers working on AMR and related disciplines delivering excellent research and impact. I am absolutely delighted to work with the Edinburgh Infectious Diseases community as the AMR Strategy Lead.
