Data Science Education Centre of Excellence
The Data Science Education Centre of Excellence (DSE CoE) recognises the benefits of a coordinated and collaborative approach to data science education and training across the University.
With growing ambitions linked to the Data Driven Innovation (DDI) programme and beyond, The Bayes Centre leads the DSE CoE with contributions from the DDI Hubs: Edinburgh Futures Institute, Usher Institute, AgriTech Centre, as well as the DDI Skills Gateway, The Data Lab Innovation Centre, and key stakeholders from across the University’s Schools, Colleges and Service units. This work is supported by the Data Science Education Centre of Excellence Strategy Group with membership spanning those outlined above.
The DSE CoE:
- Provides a focal point for current and planned data science education and training across the University
- Works to gain a better understanding of existing content, regulatory, software and process limitations, and planned growth in order to help quickly leverage opportunities as the University of Edinburgh develops data science activities.
Programmes, courses, and training options will be profiled here as the portfolio of data science education grows across the University. Opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as those looking to study and upskill while they work are available.
If you have questions about the DSE CoE, about any of the programme, course or training opportunities outlined on this website, or would like to add to the list of available data science training options, please do Contact Us.
