About Us

We study microbial population dynamics and evolution, using mathematical modelling and experiments.

We are based in the Institute of Evolutionary Biology. We are also affiliated with the Centre for Synthetic & Systems Biology, Centre for Adapting to Changing Environments, and Edinburgh Infectious Diseases network.

Our research is funded by the Royal Society, the University of Edinburgh, and individual PhD scholarships.
