Get Involved

If you have breast cancer or non-Hodgkin lymphoma and you are planning to start anthracycline adjuvant or neo-adjuvant therapy, and you are aged 18 years or over you may be eligible to take part in the Cardiac CARE trial.

The trial is being carried out across the UK and participants will be enrolled from:

• Edinburgh Cancer Centre
• Beatson Institute for Cancer Research, Glasgow
• Velindre Hospital, Cardiff
• University Hospital Wales, Cardiff
• Oxford University Hospitals
• The Christie Hospital, Manchester
• Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, Middlesex
• Milton Keynes University Hospital

A research nurse or an oncologist/haematologist at these centres will speak to potential participants in clinic and provide them with an information sheet about the study. After a day or two the research nurse will telephone to find out if they are interested in joining the trial.
