The Story I See

13 November 2021, 16:00-18:00

Agnyã Movement

'The story I see' is a webcast series and its second episode will be presented live at the Being Human Festival.

Who is seen? Who is not seen? How does the body and its movement tell stories, resist expectations or perform silence?

Dance/movement films created by Agnyā Movement and Theiya Arts will explore issues around who is seen or not seen. A panel including humanities researchers from the Centre for Biomedicine, Self and Society (Agomoni Ganguli-Mitra and Ingrid Young), dancers and publics will then respond to this piece to share how they view the story and this will lead to a wider discussion with the audience around how stories are told.

The second episode to be presented in this event is created with the reflection and responses received from the audience after the premiere.
