Politics and international relations is one of the largest, most vibrant and most exciting subject areas in the University. 

We are home to over 600 undergraduates and 100 Scottish, UK and international postgraduate students every year. Our alumni include government ministers, members of parliament, policy analysts, broadcasters, business leaders, teachers and an increasing number of social entrepreneurs. 

You’ll have the opportunity to draw upon the expertise of leading academics and researchers in their field, who regularly advise, inform and debate public policy at Scottish, UK, European and international levels.
