Our teaching centre, Alison House, is located at the heart of the University. It houses our teaching rooms and practice rooms as well as a suite of electroacoustic music studios and a computer microlab. The Reid School of Music will be relocating to our Lauriston Campus as part of the investment in our campus facilities.Close by are both the Reid Concert Hall with an Ahrend organ and state-of-the-art recording studio, and St Cecilia’s Hall, the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Scotland, home to the Edinburgh University Collection of Musical Instruments, one of the most significant historical musical instrument collections in the world.
