Funding is available at both the PhD and Masters level.

Informatics Global PhD Scholarships

If you have a strong academic track record at undergraduate or Masters level, and are highly motivated to pursue a PhD programme in the School of Informatics at The University of Edinburgh, you could be selected to receive a full PhD scholarship. Applications for Informatics Global PhD Scholarships are open now to students of all nationalities who are planning to start a PhD in the School of Informatics from September 2019.

School of Informatics Scholarships

Around 40 research scholarships are available each year to new postgraduate research students within the School of Informatics.

EPSRC Doctoral Training Funds

Ten full scholarships are available each year for each of our Doctoral Training Centres.

Google European Doctoral Fellowships

Google runs an international competition for these scholarships.

University of Edinburgh MSR Joint Initiative in Informatics

Up to four full scholarships are available in designated research areas that link the School of Informatics and Microsoft Research.

John Fisher High Performance (HPC) Scholarships

EPCC will offer a minimum of two John Fisher High Performance Computing Masters scholarships for the 2019-20 academic session.
