What is Isokinetic Testing?

The Biodex System 4 Isokinetic Dynamometer is a hi-tech device used for muscle testing and rehabilitation by medical and physiotherapy professionals. This isokinetic dynamometer allows evaluation of strength, endurance, power and range of motion of all major joints and muscles, and provides highly detailed objective data results of performance. The results can be used to determine the areas or deficiencies that need improvement. By identifying the area that is weak, a targeted rehabilitation program can be designed. Targeting and concentrating on the impairment allows a faster, measurable recovery.
