Alumna Isobel wins Royal Archaeological Institute award

Alumna Isobel Walker, who graduated last year with a First Class MA (Hons) in Archaeology, has won the Royal Archaeological Institute’s Tony Baggs Award for 2012.

The award goes to the best undergraduate dissertation on a subject concerning the archaeology or architectural history of Britain, Ireland and adjacent areas of Europe.

Isobel’s excellent dissertation was entitled 'A Study of Fracture Patterns in Roman and Medieval British Populations'.

She won £500 and one year's membership subscription to the Royal Archaeological Institute.
