Congratulations to our student prizewinners
The School of History, Classics and Archaeology is proud to report that a recent graduate and two current postgraduate students have been awarded prestigious prizes recently.
Isobel Walker has been awarded the Royal Archaeological Institute’s Tony Baggs Award.
The Scottish History Society has awarded its annual postgraduate prize to PhD student, Jeffrey Wolf.
Fraser Raeburn, who is studying for an MSc History, has won the Economic & Social History Society of Scotland’s Research Essay Prize.
Head of School, Professor Alvin Jackson, says:
“To have work recognised at national level by respected academic societies is a great achievement, of which Isobel, Jeff and Fraser can rightly be proud.
“I am delighted to join their supervisors and the whole School in congratulating them on their success.”
