Paul Quigley wins two prestigious book prizes

Dr Paul Quigley, a lecturer in American History with the School has won two prestigious prizes for his book “Shifting Grounds: Nationalism and the American South, 1848-1865”.

The prizes awarded are the 2012 British Association for American Studies (BAAS) book prize and the Museum of the Confederacy's Jefferson Davis Prize.
