NEW**UK/EU Master's Scholarships**

Scholarships are available to UK and EU students already accepted on a full-time masters degree programmes in any subject offered by the University starting in 2015/16.

Applicants have until Tuesday 30 June to apply for the Edinburgh-funded initiative.

Award

Scholarships will run for one academic year and will automatically be deducted from tuition fees.

Any remaining funds will be awarded towards living costs following confirmation of enrolment.

Eligibility

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit.

Candidates require a first-class or upper second-class (2:1) honours degree from a UK university or overseas equivalent.

Only applicants liable for the UK/EU rate of tuition fee are eligible to apply.

Scholarships will be limited to applicants who have received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) by the 30 June closing date.

Applicants accepted on a part-time or online distance learning programme are not eligible to apply.

Students who are already on a programme are not eligible to apply.

Applying

To qualify for a scholarship, applicants must first apply for admission to an eligible programme of study.

Applicants will receive a University username (UUN) once they have applied for admission.

Eligible students should complete an online scholarship application before the application deadline of Tuesday 30 June.

Only applicants who have received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) on the closing date of the scholarship will be considered by the selection panel.

Applicants who have already applied for the UK/EU Masters Scholarship for 2015-2016 session do not need to apply again. These applications will be automatically considered.

The online application form will only be available to those who have applied for admission to Edinburgh and have full EASE authentication.

Selection procedure

A committee will meet in early July 2015 to select the scholarship holders.

All applicants will be notified by 24 July 2015.
