We have an exciting programme of curriculum-linked, hands-on science workshops and activities for primary, secondary and international schools. All workshops are led by experienced science communication professionals and are supported by scientists, vets and vet nurses.
Our P6 & P7 primary workshops are fun, hands-on, curriculum-linked learning experiences that reveal the world of science and veterinary work. All our workshops give an opportunity for your pupils to chat and work with real scientists and/or vets.
Our Secondary school workshops, for pupils from S1 to S6, are all curriculum-linked, interactive and reveal the real-life science being done at The Roslin Institute, the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies and across the University of Edinburgh. We give your pupils the opportunity to speak with real scientists, vets and animal nurses.
We welcome booking from international schools and universities. Visiting the Easter Bush Science Outreach Centre is a fantastic opportunity to find out about research at The Roslin Institute, a world-leading centre for animal bioscience and birthplace of Dolly the Sheep.
