  • A study to explore feasibility & applicability of MRI scanning of liver & kidney in patients with acute liver failure.

We use multiple functional imaging parameters obtained in a single MR scan to describe:

  • liver fibrosis
  • iron content
  • fat content
  • perfusion (via non-invasive assessment of portal blood flow)
